The folks at HP Fitzgerald Elementary School work hard to make sure their children are taken care of. That work just got a little easier with news that Community Ambulance is giving $5000 to The Public Education Foundation. The money will help the school replenish its uniform closet, which provides school uniforms to students in need. The funds will also benefit the school’s Reading is Fundamental Program.
“Education is one of the foundational elements of a successful person,” said Robert Richardson, partner and chief executive officer of Community Ambulance. “As a community partner, Community Ambulance values education and what it can do for an individual’s livelihood and self-worth and believes that everyone should have an opportunity to receive an excellent education. Community Ambulance is honored to provide needed resources to the children in our public school systems ensuring a pathway for our future leaders.”
“We applaud Community Ambulance’s leadership and are thankful for their commitment to ensuring our students have some of the vital resources they need,” said Judi Steele, president and chief professional officer of The Public Education Foundation. “The company’s generosity is a great example of how public-private partnership can make a measurable difference for our children.”
